David Archuleta Joins BYU Vocal Point for “What a Beautiful Name”

Latter-day Saint pop-star David Archuleta joined with BYU Vocal Point for a touching cover of “What a Beautiful Name,” originally sung by Hillsong Worship.

The group wrote on social media, “This video has such a powerful message that we hope will ring throughout the world as part of our own testimony of Christ.” You can hear more music by BYU Vocal Point here and David Archuleta here.

While watching the video, it is easy to sense the joy Archuleta and the members of Vocal Point feel as they testify together of Jesus Christ.

These lyrics near the end of the video are particularly powerful during the Easter season: “Death could not hold You / the veil tore before You / You silenced the boast, of sin and grave / The heavens are roaring, the praise of Your glory / For You are raised to life again.”
