LDSC Help Feed More Than 2000 Families in California Affected by COVID-19

The Church’s humanitarian arm, Latter-day Saint Charities, partnered with various organizations in California helped feed the more than 2000 families in California affected by the pandemic.

The humanitarian project was carried out at the Banc of California Stadium with the help of the Salvation Army to help equip and ready to provide the food boxes in the space of just four hours.

Each box contained 18 meals for families, as well as a grocery card for them to get fresh produce.

Globally, COVID-19 has become the largest humanitarian aid project of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with more than 630 projects in over 130 countries.
