Missionaries Light The World at an Orphanage In Umuahia in Nigeria

A group of missionaries serving in the Nigeria Enugu Mission Yesterday decided to light the World of an orphanage within their Zone.

These exemplary missionaries lead by their Zone Leader; Elder Gerway carefully planned and executed this activity.  When asked, the zone leader stated it was our own way of lighting the world this Christmas season to comfort those that stand in need of comfort.

As part of the activity, the missionaries presented foods and gifts. Together with the kids in the orphanage, they play games, sang hymns and ate. Indeed I testify that, “when we love God with all our hearts, He turns our hearts to the well-being of others”.

The director on behalf of the orphanage expressed their profound gratitude to these young missionaries for choosing to put a smile on the faces of these young ones. She further reminded them, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

We salute these missionaries for their contribution to the “Light The World” program of the Church.
